We Need Your Support
Northern California Unitarian Universalist Camps and Conferences (NCUUCC) relies on the generosity of volunteers and donations to keep our camps and programs in operation. We strive to keep our camper fees as low as possible while maintaining the standards for food and programming that people know and love us for. Donations are directed to our Bridge Scholarhip Program that help families in need attend camp. Donations are also critical to recouping our reserves due to losses in recent years from post-pandemic inflation. Our goal is to raise an additional $10,000 annually to ensure we have the reserves needed for another generation of campers and the next storm we must weather.
Read more about why we need your suppprt.
Since COVID-19, all camper fees have had to be raised due to steep price increases across all areas of operation. Due to this rise in cost, we have seen an increase need from families seeking scholarships. Annually, we give out around $8,000 – $10,000 for our Bridge Scholarship Program which is funded largely in part from donations from community members through donations of camp deposits, gofundme drives, and birthday fundraisers.
After returning to in-person activities in 2021 and 2022, our camps began to lose thousands of dollars annually. We were operating in the red and off of our reserves. At the start of 2023, we knew that if budget items weren’t cut and fees weren’t raised we were looking at the last years of camp.
Thanks to community support and donations, our organization has been able to weather these challenges. In 2024 we had our first year in the black. We know we are lucky as many small nonprofits like our didn’t fare as well in the aftermath of the pandemic. Thanks to an outpour of community support, quick action by our volunteer board, and the resiliency of our volunteer leaders we are looking at a future bright for our intentional multigeneration community. We couldn’t do it without your donations and support.

NCUUCC Board
The NCUUCC Board is nonprofit working board made of community volunteers who serve for three year terms. Board members delegate and tackle a variety of fiscal and administrative duties to make our camps and programs run. Community members are welcome to join in on our annual board meetings however they do not get a vote for official business items. Due to time constraints, we ask community members to bring up items for board consideration at the beginning and end of meetings. If interested in attending a meeting or writing in a comment please email.
